The colourful, Victorian-style Pearson Park bandstand in west Hull was recently reinstated as part of a major Heritage Fund restoration project, matching its historic 19th-century design. I often walk past the bandstand on trips to the park on my lunchtimes.

This is the original artwork - the only one available, hand drawn with an immense level of detail, and painted with full attention and care, to bring the colours and feelings of the subject to life. It carries the marks and details that exist in this piece alone.
